INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON DRONES & TECHNOLOGY APPLIED TO THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES. Valencia, June 8, 2018

The event will be held in two sessions, the first one in the Auditorium Alfons Roig and the second one in the Science museum.

The Auditorium Alfons Roig of the fine arts faculty, is located in the faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia with a capacity of 300 audience. This is the ideal place for the invited experts to hold their lectures about the challenges related to drones and CIs. On one hand, we count on the participation of the Vice-Rector of Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer, José E. Capilla Romá, who will hold the opening speech and accompany through the programme which will provide the necessary framework of the event. On the other one, we are very happy about the participation of Marcel Watelet, Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology – Data Applications & Creativity, from the European Commission, who will exemplify the diverse H2020 financing opportunities for the CI sector.

The Science Museum Príncipe Felipe, designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, is situated in the City of Arts and Sciences (CAC) complex at the end of the former riverbed of the river Turia. Nowadays, the CAC is considered as the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia. Therefore, this is the optimal environment to draw attention on our project and to demonstrate the potential of AiRT.  The filming demonstration within the Museum will represent a relevant environment for the Creative Industries.
