Samuel Van de Velde

Samuel Van de Velde. He studied Bachelor in Science, Electrical and Electronics engineering at VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) from 2005-2008, and graduated with magna cum laude. Then, at the Ghent University he did his master in Science and engineering, electrical circuits and systems at from 2008-2010, with the thesis-topic “Design and experimental study of a spread-spectrum indoor positioning system”. From 2010-2015 he was FWO researcher at the TELIN department of Ghent University with PhD topic titled: ‘Positioning in Cooperative communication networks’. He published serveral A1 and C1 pappers and won 2 best paper awards, 1 best presentation award and the EOS best poster award. Since 2015 he is chief technology officer at Pozyx Labs, responsible for hardware and embedded software.
